In short: your check-ins stay yours.

Honestly is a private weekly check-in app for couples. It is designed so that your relationship reflections stay with you and your partner — never with us. We do not run any server, we do not have a database, and we cannot read your data.

What we collect

Nothing. The developer of Honestly does not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any personal information. There is no account to create with us, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Where your data lives

On your device. Everything you write — names, appreciations, discussion points, reflections, mood — is stored locally on your iPhone.
In your own iCloud, if you choose to sync. If you invite a partner, your shared check-ins are stored in your private iCloud account and synchronised through Apple’s CloudKit. This data is shared only with the partner you explicitly invite, and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to it.

What we don’t do

No analytics or usage tracking.
No third-party advertising or marketing SDKs.
No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
No developer-operated servers or backends.

Your control & deletion

You can edit or delete any check-in in the app at any time, and you can delete all local data from Settings. Shared data is removed from iCloud when you stop sharing or delete it; managing your iCloud storage is done through your device’s iCloud settings.

Children

Honestly is intended for adults in a relationship and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
